Writing Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in writing for LameSports.net. Here are a few guidelines that your writing needs to adhere to in order for your article to be published:

Submissions.

For your piece to be published on LameSports.net, your article:

1. IS REQUIRED to be original, previously unpublished fiction or non-fiction.

2. REQUIRES that you are the original author of the piece created, and any quotes, facts or other material taken from another source will be attributed to the original author or representative of the author of the original fact, quote or other material.
   
   
3. MUST NOT be public domain material, or material purchased or taken from copyrighted sources, or sources where you are not the original content creator.
   
   
4. MUST NOT contain any links, images, or other material that point outside of LameSports.net, without written consent from LameSports.net administration. This includes, but is not limited to: affiliate links, advertising, and references to outside source material.
   
   
5. MUST NOT be a press release, advertisement, sales letter, promotional copy, or blatant and excessive self-promotion or hype of any kind.
   
   
6. IS REQUIRED to have proper English, spelling, grammar, punctuation, capitalization and sentence structure. Your article must be proofed before it is submitted to LameSports.net for publication. If English is not your native language, please have your article or piece proofed by a qualified English-speaker before submission.
   
   
7. MUST NOT contain pornography/adult-oriented material, contain hate or violence oriented material, have suggestion of racial intolerance, advocacy against any individual or group, have insulting, obscene, degrading tone, or contain excess profanity.
   
   
8. MUST NOT contain questionable material, such as: hacking/cracking content, bomb creation, support for terrorism/radicalism/religious fanaticism, illicit drugs or drug related paraphernalia, steroid use/advocacy, weapon/firearms/ammunition use or creation, or the promotion of hard alcohol/tobacco-related products or prescription drugs.
   
   
9. MUST NOT contain information that promotes: Term paper or essays for sale to students, pro-Private Label Rights material, pro-email Safe Lists or Bulk Email generation material (SPAM), pro-paid auto surf programs, pay-per-click advertising fraud, advocacy of Made For Adsense sites as a good thing, or advocacy of Adsense Arbitrage. This policy is created to protect the interests of our advertisers.
   
   
10. MUST NOT contain any content that is in violation of any law, be considered defamatory, libelous, or infringes on the rights, legal or otherwise, of individuals or groups.
    
    
11. MUST NOT be a submission of a copy of previously written original material submitted to other sources, websites or publication. Any misuse of copying original material to multiple publications will result in banning from submission to LameSports.net, and any affiliate, partner or sponsor of LameSports.net.
    
    
12. MUST NOT contain a reply to any personal email, letter, or other private correspondence.
    
    
13. MUST NOT be keyword spammed; i.e. submitted articles cannot contain excessive keywords, key-sentences or other repeated material to gain more publicity to your piece. While we do not discourage self-promotion, excessive use will cause the article to be sent back for a rewrite, or non-acceptance of the article to be published.
