NCAA Basketball 2007

With the new NCAA basketball polls out, people all over the country are getting ready for the BCS to be over and the nation wide College Basketball gambling to begin! Okay so it’s close to 5 months away, and it’s not real gambling, but the fact remains that true fans of March Madness are ready for a real post season to start rather than an idiotic system of rankings and bowl games that decide the championship game by use of a formula rather than an actual game.

Knicks No More

I remember one night in May of 1993, at the precocious age of eight, kneeling down beside my bed and looking up toward the ceiling. I knew what praying was, even though I had never done it before nor did I understand the complexities of god and religion. But on that fateful night, I asked what I believed to be a kind and loving deity, if he could somehow use his influence to help the New York Knicks beat the Chicago Bulls in the playoffs.
