Brady Regrets Fashion Statement
By Rusty Weiss
Describing it as ‘simply a fashion statement,’ Tom Brady has mulled the effects of wearing a walking boot to his girlfriend’s apartment.
“People don’t understand the pressure involved in dating a supermodel,” Brady said. “You’re always going out with someone that looks great, always fashionable. Sometimes you feel like you want to keep up with her, you know?”
Several Web sites were posting the photo of Brady’s walking boot fiasco (credited to infphoto.com) early Monday morning. Brady is clearly seen wearing the device on his right foot.
“I don’t really get what the big deal is,” he lamented. “I’m getting dressed to go see my woman, and I’m thinking, you know, what would be hip? Edgy? Something the kids will be down with? How about one boot, baby? I’m the Teflon quarterback, nobody will think twice about this.”
Brady further demonstrated his poor judgment by stating, “Hey, it worked for that Michael Jackson dude for how long? Why shouldn’t it work for me?”
Gisele was clearly embarrassed by the move saying, “Yea, it worked alright. So did adult alarms and McCauley Culkin, but I hope to hell this doesn’t get to that level.
Tony Romo, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback may have inadvertently planted the thought in Brady’s head.
Romo remembered, “Tom called me early that morning and asked some personal grooming tips and techniques. We both have hot girls after all. But I couldn’t hear him very well, because Jessica was singing These Boots Were Made for Walking in my ear. It was irritating and hot all at once, but I think Tom might have overheard the whole thing.”
Bridget Moynahan, Brady’s ex recalled a similar incident that led to their break up.
“It was a cold night sometime last year when I called him to come pick me up. So next thing I know, he’s standing at my front door and something seemed out of place. I look down, and he’s got one mitten on. I asked ‘What the hell is that?’ and he just mumbled something about a fashion statement.”
“After that, we just went our separate ways,” Moynahan said. “I just wish he wore a different kind of glove that night. Man was I hammered.”
